I think we need to make a decision regarding the mediaproxy module. The development team no longer supports Kamailio and I think the module doesn't support recent releases of the mediaproxy.
Any thoughts?
/O
Juha was updating the module from time to time. Not using it myself, but from what I get on lists, it seems to work pretty ok, apart of casual issues as in any software.
Cheers, Daniel

Yes, its working fine so far even in my most recent kamailio deployments. Its sad if they are not supporting kamailio any more.
Thank you.

if need has arisen, i have been updating kamailio mediaproxy module except the dialog module related parts which i don't use and don't know anything about.

I am using engage_media_proxy on kamailio 3.3.2 with media proxy trunk version without any problem on at least 3 production system, which i setup in past 3 months.
I will try kamailio trunk version with media proxy trunk version on a test machine next week and see if i get any trouble.
Thank you.

Ok, I missed Juha's updates and was obviously wrong. That's great.
On to other modules... Checking, updating. Please go through documentation. We still have many typos to kill, example configurations to test before release.
You will learn a lot of stuff while reading the READMEs!
Thanks for your help!

as daniel mentioned, i have been using mediaproxy module successfully for years, but i'm not using dialog module dependent engage_mediaproxy function. use_media_proxy and end_media_session functions work fine for me.

Great work.
Do you think the engage_mediaproxy function still works? Can you test it for the new release?
Jus tmaking sure the docs are correct :-)

We published the repo today at https://github.com/sipwise/mediaproxy-ng.
You may want to use the 2.1 branch, as the master branch already uses a new control protocol. The kamailio module "rtpproxy-ng" for that protocol will be released on github later today and merged into kamailio-upstream after the kamailio-4.0 release.

you could also add columns "IPv6 Support" and "Media Recording". MediaProxy has neither. i think MediaProxy-ng has the first, but not the second.
