Just a generic note, it seems that some projects like haproxy don't recomment openssl 3.x for production use anymore, due to similar issues and also multiple major performance regressions with a performance of 1/10 to 1/4 comparing to openssl 1.1.x [link](https://github.com/haproxy/wiki/wiki/SSL-Libraries-Support-Status#openssl)
