I assume that the child just abort itself, via abort(). This is used in some places
because Kamailio assumes that there is a critical condition which it can't safely
continue processing.
There are also such aborts like this in the TCP core path, that was my first guess.
But they are also in tm, but many of them in #defines. Do you have EXTRA_DEBUG activated
as compile define, by chance?
