Good day.
In all documentation seems bug:
6.1. $rtpstart
^^^^^^^ not "start", but "stat"
Returns the RTP-Statistics from the RTP-Proxy. The RTP-Statistics from the RTP-Proxy are provided as a string and it does contain several packet-counters. The statistics must be retrieved before the session is deleted (before unforce_rtpproxy()).
Example 1.16. $rtpstat-Usage
...
append_hf("X-RTP-Statistics: $rtpstat\r\n");

Hi,
I am a newbie to sip router project. I need some documentation to get started. I could find a nice link on the kamailio.org site to build and install the package and run the server. I need some documentation to do more from there. While browsing to get more information, it seemed there is a SER Getting started guide. But I couldn't find that in any of the related sites. The iptel.org has some links which are not working.
It is bit confusing since there are multiple sites. Could you please guide me to get all available documentation to get started.
Thanks,
Ajay
Hi All,
I'm just learning Kamailio and I stumbled upon something. My minimal configuration didn't work because I had not loaded the pv module. Google of course knows everything so my problem was quickly solved. I think though that it would be wise to document the dependancies on pv more clearly. At least auth_db seems to depend on pv, as well as possibly many other modules that I don't know about (yet).

what kind of data you need for replication? Depending on the types of
services you offer with kamailio installation, there might be different
solutions.
One commonly referred online is replication of registration states,
which can be achieved using t_replicate() for REGISTER requests:

Hi There,
last few days i've bee very confused about the si-router project and
all the ser things arround it. So in a few hours I browsed the web and
finally i wrote a wikipedia article in the german wikipedia.
So... these guys are now very concerned about if I have the permission
to publish this Picture.
The picture I'm talking about can be found on the following URL:
http://sip-router.org/wp-images/sip-router-history.jpg
My Question is: Are there any restrictions regarding this picture? Am
I allowed to pubish it on the german wikipedia?
Quote from the Wikipedia: Um das nachvollziehen zu können, vermerke
bitte die Erlaubnis auf der Dateibeschreibungsseite in der Zeile
„Genehmigung“. Außerdem muss der Urheber/Rechteinhaber die Genehmigung
zur Veröffentlichung per E-Mail an permissions-de(a)wikimedia.org
bestätigen. Dazu verwendet er am besten die Standard-Textvorlage.
Basically it's an appeal to the owner of the picture to write a mail
to the adress permissions-de(a)wikimedia.org to grant the publishing.
Thanks for ur help...

Hello,
According to
http://lists.sip-router.org/pipermail/sr-dev/2010-August/008445.html, I
propose a patch for pua module documentation.
It could be quite annoying to start a new module using pua api and
realize that the api mismatch the documentation. Especially if your
first reflex was to write a patch for the current code and implement the
old api ;-).
Thanks,
Nikita
Dear All,

Hello,
I renamed kamailio-docs(a)lists.kamailio.org to
sr-docs(a)lists.sip-router.org. Info about it at:
http://lists.sip-router.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/sr-docs
Lately, several discussions touched the documentation aspects, in a need
for a better structuring and updates for the new context of sip router
project. The old mailing list was active for a while, but with the start
of sip router project was ignored because of more focus on integration work.
I hope some of you will join, help to build new documentation and spot
mistakes in existing versions. Volunteers that want to lead various
documentation efforts are more than welcome! Just say what you need...
Thanks,
Daniel

test message to see if renaming process went fine. Posting to old
mailing list address should work, the new address is:
sr-docs(a)lists.sip-router.org
Hope to revive this list and direct some efforts to structure the
existing documentation for better accessibility.
Cheers,
Daniel
