I was hoping to illuminate the semantics of a "trunk" in relation to 
Kamailio.  Kamailio is not an application with a high-level concept like 
a configured trunk.  You can choose to accept initial SIP requests from 
certain IP or authenticated destinations, and you can choose to relay 
them to certain destinations.  In so doing, you have built what you are 
referring to as a "trunk".  That's about it.
