[Serusers] Problem with 'ser'?

mysql: I always used the mysql rpms from redhat. they are working fine. You need at least the server-rpm, and the client-rpm. (I think you would also need the mysql-devel rpms if you want to build ser from sources.)
I don't know if mysqladmin is intalled from the mysql server rpm, but you may try
'find -name mysqladmin'
from the / directoy to find it.
