Hello,

the sip server does not send 407 unless you explicitly do a challenge in 
the config.

In your case, there could be:
- the branch is looped back to your sip server where you do auth again
- the 407 comes from downstream

Use ngrep or other network sniffer to see who is sending the 407 reply
