[OpenSER-Users] Mediaproxy Vs RTP Proxy

Dear All
I know that there are two possible setups one usng mediaproxy and another one using rtpproxy. How do these two proxies differ from each other ?
And if I chose NOT to use any of these proxies would I be able to make calls through a PSTN gateway located on the Internet ?
