[SR-Users] pv_parse_spec2(): wrong char error

Just for reference in case someone needs it in the future, when a
special character is not working directly as a parameter in a
transformation, try to set it in a variable and then use the variable in
the transformation, like:

$var(s) = '#';

$var(v) = $(rU{s.select,0,$var(s)});

Not all transformations accept variables, but most of them do.
