[SR-Users] Memory leak after enabling topos module

Hello,

thanks for troubleshooting, testing and reporting the results, the
feedback helped a lot to solve these issues.

I will look at the patch and see if should be pushed to 4.4 -- iirc,
there were quite some changes in topos internals that may be too heavy
for backporting.
