[SR-Users] multi-process not multi-threading

Hello,

 

Can you please help me to well understand this statement : Kamailio is a
multi-process application not multi-threading

Does this mean that if we have a machine with one processor of 8 cores ,
kamailio cannot process more than 1 call at the same time ?

 

Any help would be appreciated.
