[SR-Users] EOF Error in pass_fd

This is a crash in one of the child processes (a normal crash, in other
words). Signal 11 is a "segmentation fault".
All the other stuff is just a consequence of that: other child processes
abruptly finding that they can't communicate with the dead child, the
parent process receiving a SIGCHLD ("your child process has died")
signal, etc. That is normal in a crash.
