Hello,
do you have libpurple-dev installed?
I do not have a lenny installation around, if you have the lib
installed, can you paste the output of:
make modules modules=modules/purple
In case you do not need purple module, you can edit
packaging/debian/control and remove dependency and packaging of
kamailio-purple-module.
