[Serusers] Installing serweb

  Hi Mike,
I am not sure what recent development do you mean. I think the message 
from January 3 on http://pear.php.net/ is not related to XML_RPC package 
but to some technology used on pear.php.net site.

The XML_RPC package is still available:

root at kk:~# pear list-all | grep RPC
pear/XML_RPC                          1.5.1  PHP implementation of the 
XML-RPC protocol

And I am able to install it:

root at kk:~# pear install XML_RPC
downloading XML_RPC-1.5.1.tgz ...
Starting to download XML_RPC-1.5.1.tgz (32,215 bytes)
.........done: 32,215 bytes
install ok: channel://pear.php.net/XML_RPC-1.5.1
