[Serusers] Unable to compile the xmlrpc module

Do I need a newer version of libxml ?, below is what I have installed:
[root at ims-server03 ser]# rpm -qa |grep libxml
libxml-1.8.17-9.2
perl-libxml-enno-1.02-29
libxml2-2.5.10-7
