[Serusers] problem installing external modules

as concerns the first error in url module README file -0.8.14- I found
1.3. Exported Parameters
1.3.1. db_url (string)
   URL of the database to be used.
   Default value is "sql://serro:47serro11@localhost/ser".
   Example 1-1. Set db_url parameter
...
modparam("module", "db_url", "sql://username:password@localhost/ser")
...

..but in url module README file -0.9.6- I found

1.3. Exported Parameters
   None.

so it means it is not necessary ..?
