The Cisco PIx helps you in rewriting SIP messages if your SIP proxy is 
behind NAT - that means if your Cisco-PIX network uses NAT, the Cisco 
PIX provide means to solve this NAT issue.

But I do not know if it is capable of "far end NAT traversal".
