yes, take for example apps/conf_auth, strip away most of the lines and
you have a b2bua that terminates the call after a given time.  what
comes to not detecting dead UA, PSTN GWs usually to that automatically.
so you only will be missing dead UA in SIP-SIP calls, which should be a
big thing.
