[Serusers] SER on Ubuntu Breezy

Has anyone done an install of SER on Ubuntu 5.10.  I need some initial setup
points and I can take it from there.  I installed, flex, bison,
build-essential, ran make clean nothing, ran make install and I get makefile
80 no directory or file.  Where do I go from here?
