It depends on the UAS. Do you use a certain UAS or are you developing one?

A bad, simple, dumb UAS will reject the second call/message.

An good, intelligent, smart UAS can deal with multiple calls and 
multiple IM implementations. Thus, it will accept the MESSAGE, 
regardless if it is session-model (INVITE-MESSAGE-MESSAGE-BYE) or 
page-model (MESSAGE).

Thus, there is no right or wrong. It depends on how smart the UAS is, 
and which IM models are supported by the UAS. Nevertheless, this is a 
plain end-to-end problem and does not involve the SIP proxy.
