[Serusers] SEMS, failure_route

if you run 0.9.0 or later you can use avpops module to store the 
canonical uri (the one before lookup("location")) in an AVP and then 
reuse it in failure route. For older versions you have to call 
revert_uri() followed by all R-URI processing (e.g., alias lookup).
