[Serusers] cpl-c and transactions? call to t_newtran() causes a crash

Hi Jev,

I see you are using 0.8.14 - in this version cpl-c is not fully 
supported and there are also some problems with the patch. My advice is 
to switch to unstable and to test your configuration to see if the 
problem persists.
Please let me know about the status
