Docbook has some markup for manpages already. I used that:

   http://www.oasis-open.org/docbook/documentation/reference/html/reference.html

On top of that I defined a bunch of elements and a stylesheet to get the
manpages I want when I run them through

   http://docbook2x.sourceforge.net/

They are still not perfect, but a lot better then the vanilla stuff.
