Hi Jan,

merging both drivers into one has clearly some advantages. But from a 
compatibility and maintenance POV i'd think having both of them seperately 
would also make sense. It also would make it more easier to remove one of 
them after all modules get upgraded.

Another issue is the licence, this database drivers are GPL where we don't 
have the complete copyright from. Would not this create problems for you?
