[Serdev] Suggestion: New mailing list for commits

I have received requests for separating auto-generated messages like cvs 
commits to a separate mailing list. There are people following (or 
wanting to follow) the more advanced discussions found on serdev, but 
who don't really care about the nitty-gritty of commits before a 
pre-release or release is ready.
    I second the idea, and suggest the creation of a new list called 
ser-commits or something like that.
