that would be great.  i checked some time ago with debian mainainer
Chris Leishman regarding status of xmlrpc-c and he had some problems with
newer versions of xmlrpc-c and was not willing to package a newer
version before the problems that he had identified were fixed.

i don't know if the problems have now been fixed, if Chris has changed
his mind, or if a new maintainer will take charge of the package.
