just a question about OpenSER maintenance policy:  if, for example, this
fix would also apply to earlier releases that 1.2, should it be
committed to also those or only to the latest official release, which at
this moment in 1.2?

i personally would like to keep on supporting also the previous official
release at least in cases, when a grave bug has been fixed.
