[Devel] crash when handling subscribe

presence had been working fine on my laptop.  i checked and it had been
running a fairly old version of trunk: 2253.  the crashes occurred on
another pc where i installed openser from latest trunk version 2350.

now i went and re-made latest openser on my laptop and started to get
the same presence crashed also on it too.  so something had got broken
from 2253 to 2350.  unfortunately there has been lots of presence
changes in between and the bug may thus not be trivial to find.
