[Devel] A query on name "----------------"

while debugging DNS packets, i noticed that some process was making
annoying A queries on name "----------------" (i.e. sixteen - chars).
since it happened each time openser received registration request, i
started to suspect openser, but couldn't find where it would happen.

does anyone have any idea what is the purpose of such queries?  perhaps
it has something to do with IPv6, because the number 16.  in my openser,
IPV6 is not on in Makefile.defs and i have dns_try_ipv6=0 in
openser.cfg.
