Did Daniel’s suggestion of trying with #!define not work?

Might not be as nice but another option would be using jsonrpc?

Hello Daniel,

Let me know if you found a solution to access the $sel into the event route.
I put the IP address of the server into a system variable and I need to access it into the event route 😊

I pushed a commit for a safety check to avoid the crash, but the value won't be available for $sel(...) in that event route. I will look to see if there is any solution for it, not being the author of that part of code.

Meanwhile, try by replacing the $sel(...) with a #!define / #!subst token or its actual value.
