I believe what you want is something more along the lines of:

curl -s -H 'Content-Type: application/json' --data-binary '{"jsonrpc":
"2.0", "method": "htable.dump", "params" : {"name": "callstats"}}'
http://1.2.3.4:5060/jsonrpc
