[SR-Users] Problems to start kamailio

Thank you for Your response Daniel.

I was able to solve the problem doing a step by step inclusion of the
#!define WITH_ASTERISK function and restarting kamailio every time. I
believe I had a typo or so. I also had not configured the append_fromtag

Parameter. I believe I was able to integrate kamailio with Freepbx but now
my users register in Freepbx even if they are not created in Kamilio but as
long as the user name and password are valid, I change the password location
to a different table so Asterisk don't ask twice for authentication.. I sent
another post about his.

Thanks a lot

Carlos.

Hello,

even if you didn't change that line of config, something before can impact
it, like #ifdef or IF conditions, missing or extra {, }, (, ).

Maybe you can give the diff against the default config file and we can spot
what is the issue. Otherwise, give here the content of the lines pointed by
the error messages.

Cheers,
Daniel

Hello

I am having problems to start kamailio 4.1.3 on a fresh centos 6.5 install
with Asterisk 11.9 following the tutorial. Everything has gone well except
that I cannot start kamailio. Basically I have two problems.

The message that I got from the console when I try to start is

[root at gt-ev-i08 kamailio-4.1.3]# kamctl start

INFO: Starting Kamailio :

ERROR: PID file /var/run/kamailio.pid does not exist -- Kamailio start
failed

An when I look at the error messages in var/log/messages I see the following
errors.

I did not touch that section of the kamailio.cfg file. I am really lost now.
Hopefully someone can help.

Thanks

Carlos
