Hi Serhat,

a common error is that people use 'make' instead of 'gmake', if I remember 
correctly. Can you specifiy the errors you've got, then other people could 
have a look as well .

The best OS? Well, most developers and also users use not a BSD variant, but 
Linux, not sure if this is an option for you. Olle (also on this list) have 
some experiences with FreeBSD as well, they were some discussions on the sr-
dev list some month ago.
