Thanks Klaus, I found the commit which is included in release 3.1.3. We've upgraded some hours ago and no crash at the moment (so no core dump is neither generated).
I'll let you know about this issue.

IIRC there were some changes in recent kernels which needs some more
tweaking (there was a commit from Daniel, but I can't remember the details)
