[SR-Users] following the path a request take in the config file

Hi
Is there a way of tracing the path a request takes as it is being processed by the config file? Aside from logging using xlog().
I am not sure whether I read about this some where on the web , but I am under the impression that  starting on version 3.x there was going to be a similar feature.
