[Kamailio-Users] starting kamailio using kamailio binary

ok, thanks guys, I think I get it now. I will try using Henning's approach.

I thought that the "kamctl lcr show" calls "kamailio" with fifo related parameters to load the values into memory. Some sort of "kamailio fifo lcr reload" for example.
And I was looking to use that if possible instead of tweaking the "kamctl" script.

Hi Klaus,

mysql on local host is the default for the kamctl script. There is no support 
for ODBC in the ctl script yet. But it should not too hard to implement, one 
could use the kamctl.psql and just replace the SQL command specific parts.
