I would recommend reading the SIPconnect specification from the Sip  
Forum.

There's also a site named "SIP TRUNK network" at http://www.siptrunk.org/
that describes SIP trunking.

The definition of a "SIP trunk" is as clear as "Session border  
controller", which
means VERY undefined. SIPconnect is a very good attempt in clearing up
the definition of a "SIP trunk".

So start with defining what a "SIP Trunk" means in this case, then  
read the
docs - there are plenty of docs, since I think you simply mean a SIP  
connection
from one SIP server (SER) to another (Cisco CallManager) with or
without authentication (The AUTH and AUTH_DB modules).
