Hi Alex,

I was thinking of either a SIP options or alike, or at the lowest layer an
ICMP ping. I have already accepted the fact that I cant get to the media
(unless I use a B2BUA / RTP proxy), which i'm not prepared to do. However,
it is a pretty good assumption that if Kamailio cant see the device then the
device is not SIPping or RTPing and may as well be torn down.
