[Serusers] how to enable logs in SER

Can some help me on this critical issue. I'm using ser.0.9.6 version of 
SER on Solaris10 (sparc).  how can we enable error & info logs through 
syslogd utility of UNIX?

My another query "Is SER config Build system available for ser version 
0.9.6"
