Messageserctl uses FIFO, you can use it directly (I assume you know that), or if you use head, you can use the new xmlrpc interface. As locations are caches, new ones must either be inserted through a SER interface or SER must be allowed to re-read from DB.

   hi all

is there a way to have the aliases table updated without using serctl or restart ser?

  Thanks,
