[Serusers] verify if an avp is null

Hi everyone!!

How can I verify if an avp is null?? I tried if( $avp_name == '') {} but this doesn't work. any suggestions? tks a lot

ps - I know that is possible to use is_sattr_set but I think avp module is deprecated in favor of avpops
