You can tell ser to use domain using
modparam("usrloc", "use_domain", 1)
modparam("registrar", "use_domain", 1)

but that will probably not fix your problem. The fact that you get 404
means that the user the caller is trying to call is not registered. See
what username does the INVITE have in the Request-URI and then see if
such a username is in the location table.
