[Serusers] Best bersion of radiusclient to use with ser-0.9.0

Hi,
 Which is the best known stable version of radiusclient, radiusclient4.x or
radisuclient5.x, or radiusclient-ng to use with ser-0.9.x, more
specifically, ser-0.9.0. I have been bewildered by the earlier archived
posts of this list some of which advocate radiusclient5.x, and some advocate
radisuclient4.x, while in some , it is mentioned that radiusclient-ng works
very fine with ser-0.9.x, but my ser is unable to even detect
radiusclient-ng (it keeps loading the old radiusclient5.1 so's, despite the
fact that rc-ng has been compiled from source and ldconfig'ed ).

An authoritative response will be appreciated.
