In http://lists.iptel.org/pipermail/serusers/2003-December/004607.html, it is
said:
Make sure your web process has sufficient priviliges to
write to /tmp/ser_fifo (e.g., "fifo_mode=0666" in ser.cfg,
realize that anybody can then write to SER fifo).

My question is: how i set up the fifo_mode=0666? I add it to my ser.cfg
file, but ser restart failed with a "parse error to ser.cfg".

And i find another method in serusers maillist, i am afraid it is not a
better method because of the security consideration:

Check the apache httpd.conf. I had the same problem and it was because
Apache was running as user www, group www and /tmp/ser_fifo was only
writable by root and group wheel, therefore I change in Apache group from
www to wheel and it started running OK. That was my solution, perhaps not
the most secure, but a solution.
