Yes, it solves the problem.

Just a side note, with qop on, the credential has
Nonce
count parameter 0. So function check_dig_cred() in
./parser/digest/digest.c returned an error code
E_DIG_NC.

my guess is the problem is related with qop. Can you
turn off the qopon ser authentication and see if it
works?
