Yes, ser can easily do this.
I haven't used pdt for that. In your case a simple strip(6) in the
ser.cfg will do it (e.g if (uri~='sip:123456.+@') strip(6); )
or subst_uri from textops: subst_uri('/(sip:)123456(.*)/\1\2/');).
