[Serusers] ISDNgw + CAPI

Hi,

I've just updated the ser-isdngw.conf within the sems stable tree to use the
newer len:gt syntax.
Apart from that the recommended way to get things going is the following:

- get ser stable version (rel_0_8_12), make, make install

- get sems stable version (ser_rel_0_8_12),
- edit sems-src/plug-in/isdngw/Makefile to enable capi support
- make, make install

- cp sems-src/plug-in/isdngw/ser-isdngw.conf to /usr/local/ser/etc/ser.cfg and
adjust the commented parameters.
- cp sems-src/plug-in/isdngw/isdngw.conf.sample to /etc/sems/isdngw.conf and
adjust the parameters
- I recommend setting log_stderr=yes and fork=no for both, ser.cfg and
sems.conf, once things are working ok, use forking and log to syslog
- cp -av sems-src/plug-in/isdngw/etc/db to /etc/sems/db and point the db
parameter in ser.cfg to that location

- run ser and check if it comes up correctly
- try to register a SIP phone with your running ser using a valid PSTN-number
- run sems and check if it comes up correctly

- Use your SIP phone to call an external PSTN number (Note: if you call a
local number, the call is signalled to the isdngw itself too, as long as you
keep the sample isdngw.conf, which accepts any call on any controller!).

- Use a PSTN phone to call the number, your SIP phone is registered at.

Once you have all this running, I would address more complex setups or
integrate isdngw in your existing ser configuration.

I will be offline from now on until 29th, sorry but more than this short help,
I cannot give at this time. Please review the README and README.capi files in
the isdngw directory, if you have problems. You can also try to find help by
mailing to serusers at lists.iptel.org or sems at lists.iptel.org.

Best regards,

Uli.
