Remove /usr/local/lib/ser, /usr/local/share/doc/ser, 
/usr/local/sbin/{ser,serctl,ser_mysql.sh,gen_ha1} and re-install.

You can get directly the binary distribuiton, but in general it's
better to get the source one and recompile.
