[Serusers] Problem with fifo cmds.

This 8.11 version it doesn't run in solaris at all.  I am running out of
time here so I guess I will move to Linux... what Linux (kernel) you're
using with 8.10/8.11?

serctl had many solaris portability shortcomings which are (hopefuly)
fixed in 8.11 -- I recommend you to upgrade to the latest CVS version
(stable branch)
