[Serusers] recommended test phones/adapters for newbie?

I'm new to Ser and would like to set up a test lab with a couple different
ip phones / adapters to learn from. Could someone recommend a few devices
that we could use for that purpose?

Would like to install a FX voice card in a Cisco 1750 router. Is there a
particular card that others have found works?

Any suggestions on a SIP IP phone?

Thoughts on the ATA186?
